There isn't much of a difference between these covers. It kind of just looks like the new cover was enlarged and focused more on her face. I saw both versions at Walmart and decided to get the newer one. I don't like the intense red tint on the first one too much, but I wouldn't be surprised if other people liked it.
Which one do you like more and why?

i think i like the new one more because the other one makes the girl look a lot like angelina jolie.

Personally, I like the new one better.. it isn't as odd of a red, kind of darker and richer in color to match the theme of it :)

ReplyDeleteI don't really care for Vampire Academy's cover either but I think I'd buy the newer version, only because it's hardcover.
I can't stand the second or third book covers though. The guy that's supposed to represent Dimitri? IT'S NOT HIMMMM.
